WinSuperSite.com reports that Microsoft is finally working on a Surface docking station for its new Surface tablets coming out later on this year. This new dock will only be compatible with the Surface Pro but is compatible with the first and second generation versions, of course the second generation version is yet to be released as it will arrive alongside Windows 8.1 later this year.

The docking station will have mini DisplayPort out for video transfer, a single USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and microphone/headphone outputs. Pricing is not revealed but the new product is said to arrive alongside the Surface Pro 2.
