Monster Hunter Wilds Rumored for Nintendo Switch 2 with Graphic Presets Leaked
Hints continue to grow regarding a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds. Evidence now appears stronger than ever after new findings suggest possible graphic presets specific to this edition of the game.
Previously, a line of code referencing a Nintendo Switch 2 version was found in a recent update of Monster Hunter Wilds. Although Capcom has not officially announced anything yet, it seems the development team may have been working on this version for some time.
The same Chinese data-mining group that discovered the original reference has now found additional information related to the Nintendo console version — including potential graphic settings and performance options.
Possible Graphic Presets and Performance Details
According to these findings, Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch 2 could run at around 30 frames per second with DLSS enabled, a feature designed to enhance performance and image quality.
One configuration suggests that the game might reach 1080p resolution when the console is docked, offering visuals superior to the “very low” preset available on PC.
To give an idea of what this could look like, the data miners created a video comparison using the PC version with similar graphic settings to those rumored for the Nintendo console.
Capcom’s strong commitment to the Nintendo Switch 2 platform strengthens the likelihood of this release. The company has already brought titles like Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess to the system, along with upcoming games such as Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata.
