Monster Hunter Wilds Shoots Past 1.3 Million Players On Steam

Earlier today, Monster Hunter Wilds was released and immediately shot up on the Steam charts to number two with an all-time peak of 1,307,976 players, stunning just about everyone. This now makes it Capcom’s biggest PC release, surpassing the previous top game, Capcom Arcade Stadium, by over double its all-time peak.

Now, although this is a huge achievement, this still only puts Monster Hunter Wilds at number 5 on Steam charts ‘ time peak, with it now sitting just below Lost Ark. But this is just a few house after launch and the weekend hasn’t even started yet so there is plenty of time for this change.

Although the game has released to a gargantuan player base, the Steam reviews of the game aren’t all that great. With only 42% of all reviews being positive. Rather unsurprisingly, the main reason most people have given the game is due to a lack of optimisation. Yet another buggy broken mess to add to the never-ending pile of PC ports.
It still baffles me that companies will charge £60 ($75.46) for an unfinished mess. But I suppose if people will pay it companies will charge
