Given the suggested pricing and clock speeds of the 8 core bulldozers it seems like they will be competing with the top end sandybridge processor (2600K), offering similar performance for a lower price. The 2600K costs typically $360 or more whereas the high end 8 core bulldozer will arrive for $40 less whilst the six core for around $120 less.
