More leaked news on bulldozer specs

Information leaks for Asus give us more ideas on what to be expected from next months Bulldozer launch. The information was obtained via bios information for one of the 990FX Asus motherboards. All these processors therefore are AM3+.

News of 4 processors was leaked:

  • FX-8130P 8cores @ 3.8GHz (4.2GHz turbo) TDP 125 W $320
  • FX-8110 8cores @3.6GHz (4GHz turbo) TDP 95W $290
  • FX-6110 6cores TDP 95W $240 (no info on clock speeds)
  • FX-4110 4cores TDP 95W $190 (no info on clock speeds)

Given the suggested pricing and clock speeds of the 8 core bulldozers it seems like they will be competing with the top end sandybridge processor (2600K), offering similar performance for a lower price. The 2600K costs typically $360 or more whereas the high end 8 core bulldozer will arrive for $40 less whilst the six core for around $120 less.
