More Updates Coming to The First Path of Exiles
Grinding Gear Games has just announced that there is a lot more content coming to Path of Exiles 1 ahead of the now-delayed 3.26 update. To make up for the delay of the first patch since the release of Path of Exiles 2 the team has apparently “adjusted some of [its] internal resources” to give players something to do in the meantime.
Path of Exiles 3.26 Update
Co-founder Jonathan Rogers told players last week that the 3.26 update was delayed because the team “can’t really work on Path of Exile 1 until PoE 2 0.2.0 has shipped.” This isn’t the first time the update has been pushed back so that the developers can work on the early access launch of Path of Exile 2.
So to tie players off until the launch of update 3.26, which still doesn’t have a release date, there’s going to be a brand new event in the game ahead of 3.26’s launch.
Path of Exiles 1
Grinding Gear Games has said that more details about the event will be released soon and that they have some “unhinged ideas” to keep the players busy until the update.

Of course, it’s not like they haven’t had bigger priorities, with Path of Exile 2 being one of the biggest games in the world right now, consistently having close to 200,000 concurrent players, myself included in that number. It is also nice to see that they aren’t just completely abandoning Path of Exile 1 for those who prefer the original or are holding off on the new one a while longer.
Where to Play Path of Exiles 1 and 2
You can find Path of Exile 1 on Steam for free right now, that’s right, FREE! It offers hundreds of hours of new content to explore. Alternatively, if you’d like to see what all the excitement is about, you can find Path of Exile 2 on Steam for £23.93 in Early Access, but that too will become free to play in a few months if you’re patient.
