Have you picked up a copy of Mortal Kombat X yet? If you haven’t, then you’ll be happy to hear that the ultimate version of the game, Mortal Kombat XL, has now been released on Steam. The new version of the NetherRealm’s game, released by publisher Warner Bros, comes packed with all of the games DLC in one neat bundle.
The game is already packed with a hefty amount of content, but the new version also crams in a bunch of new fighters from popular horror movies. Kombat Pack 2 makes its first appearance on the PC with this release, adding Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho. You’ll also find the original Kombat Pack is also included, adding Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, each with three themed skins, as well as skins for existing characters.
To make things even better, this release also comes bundled with the launch of a new patch which improves the netcode, helping reduce the lag in online matches. Don’t worry, the patch is also rolling out to all owners of the base game too.
Mortal Kombal XL is on Steam now for $39.99/£29.99.
