MSI Confirms NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Release Date: February 20, 2025

MSI has confirmed the release date for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, set to launch on February 20, 2025. The confirmation came from an online store page by MSI, which went live briefly and displayed a countdown pointing to the release date. The page mentioned the “GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card” in the URL, though it didn’t show the product details.
The Launch Date and Retailer Leak

The launch date was also revealed by Topachat (thanks Wccftech), a major French retailer, showing the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC edition, suggesting that MSI is already sending out cards to retailers. The RTX 5070 Ti is expected to replace the RTX 4070 Ti and will feature the GB203 die. NVIDIA first announced the card at CES, but it will launch after the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, which will be available from January 30.
The RTX 5070 Ti Founders Edition will cost $749, with custom models likely priced higher, especially those from the high-end range. Meanwhile, AMD is preparing for the release of its Radeon RX 9070 XT, which is expected to compete with the RTX 5070 Ti. AMD is rumored to adopt an aggressive pricing strategy, which could challenge NVIDIA if their RDNA 4 GPUs offer a better price-to-performance ratio.
