AIDA64 Memory Bandwidth
AIDA64 Extreme Edition is a streamlined Windows diagnostic and benchmarking software for home users. AIDA64 Extreme Edition provides a wide range of features to assist in overclocking, hardware error diagnosis, stress testing, and sensor monitoring. It has unique capabilities to assess the performance of the processor, system memory, and disk drives. AIDA64 is compatible with all current 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
Looking at the memory performance, the GT60-2Ok holds the key ingredient to a high level of memory bandwidth; namely a 4th generation Haswell CPU, although the mobile aspect of the processor and the 1600MHz clock speed of the SODIMMS will create a rough plateau of performance in comparison to a desktop system.
Noting the bandwidth against a typical gaming laptop we can see that the memory bandwidth is around the same area, although as we will see shortly, the SSD array here will soon make this area of performance less of a bottle neck.
