MSI GTX 1660 SUPER Gaming X Review

While this was the fastest GTX 1660 SUPER we’ve reviewed for today’s launch, it seems that it still had plenty more performance to give! Out of the box, it was the highest clocked and had the biggest cooler. However, we boosted the memory to an impressive 2025 MHz and the GPU core to 2020 MHz. That gave over 10% performance improvement, with barely any impact on the heat and acoustics.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
