MSI Modern AM271P 11M AIO PC Review

The world has become a very strange place over the last year or so, with many of us changing our work schedule quite drastically. Not to mention working from home more often or homeschooling your kids. There are all kinds of reasons why you may need a new PC or laptop at the office or at home these days that weren’t true just a year ago. However, today I want to take a look at a less-considered option, the All-In-One PC! MSI has their new AM271P, a stylish AIO PC that should be well suited to anything from running your online business to your kids Google Classroom sessions when they end up in 10-days of isolation (guess what my daughter is doing in the office right now!).

MSI Modern AM271P 11M

It’s a well-equipped system, featuring the latest Intel Tiger Lake processors, you’ll be able to pick from the Intel Core i7-1165G7 or the i5-1135G7. There’s also a 2.5″ SATA III 7200rpm HDD, and M.2 NVMe SSD option. This is all housed in a gorgeous looking 27″ IPS LED Full HD display. Of course, you get all the usual luxurious too, such as USB 3.2 Gen 2, including Type C, there’s Intel Wireless AX201 WiFi, HDMI in/out, TPM chip, and more. However, MSI is keen to point out that it has an easily adjustable stand, the option to upgrade various components via a rear access panel, and a dual-chamber design for improved cooling performance. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find a free webcam, keyboard and mouse included in the box too. Basically, it really is an all-in-one system, everything you need is here.

Features

  • Windows 10 Home – MSI recommends Windows 10 Pro for business
  • 27″ IPS Grade Panel LED Backlight (1920 x 1080 FHD)
  • Intel® Tiger Lake processors with DDR4 memory
  • FHD Webcam included
  • MSI Anti-Flicker & Less Blue Light technology protect users’ eyes.
  • Instant Display Technology makes AIO become to monitor mode without system booting up
  • MSI Storage Rapid Upgrade Design helps you to upgrade or maintain your 2.5″ storage

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
