The graphics card looks almost identical to MSI’s other Gaming series Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. It uses those two 100mm fans with a metal shroud and measures in at approximately 26cm or 10.25 inches.
MSI always use a black PCB which is a very sensible move that maximises the appeal of this design.
The end is open for additional ventilation and you can see the heatsink overhangs the graphics card by 3.5cm or 1.4 inches.
The bottom is also open for ventilation and you can see the two 8mm nickel plated copper heat pipes used to cool the GPU.
In true MSI tradition this GPU rigidly sticks to a dual slot design meaning you’d have no trouble CrossFiring a couple of these cards on even a compact micro-ATX motherboard.
The rear I/O uses the default R9 270 layout with dual DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI. Eyefinity 6 is support using an MST hub through the DisplayPort output.
