MSI are looking to add a little extra bling to your next upgrade or system build. They’ve just announced a special limited-edition GeForce GTX 970 Gold graphics card.
The card is still a GTX 970 Gaming graphics card, but they’ve swapped out the old aluminium heatsink for one made of pure copper. The exposed stack and copper heat pipes sure look unique thanks to the cards golden-orange tinted cooler shroud. The cards back-plate has also been given a tweak. It features a unique vent pattern and a golden “dragon” logo.
There are no words on clock speeds right now, but it seems the card has been designed with overclocking headroom in mind, rather than coming with a massive factory overclock.
There are no words on price, which markets the card will be available in or how many of these will be made. However, we expect you’ll have to pay a premium given the unique cooler design.
