It seems the 2080 Ti cards really are all over the place when it comes to 1080p performance. We’ve seen this a few times now and it’s a real head-scratcher. A few driver updates down the line and I bet all this will change. For now, I don’t think it’s a problem with any of the GPUs hardware at all. Crank it to 4K, however, and the Duke it pushing 78.9 FPS average, just 0.1 FPS behind the more expensive Zotac RTX 2080 Ti.

The Duke faired great at 1080p in Rise of the Tomb Raider, hitting a blazing 217.8 FPS, again just 1.6 FPS from the top spot. At 4K, it did drop to third place, but at 4K, hitting north of 100 FPS is no bad thing at all.
