MSI RTX 5090 Lightning Z Launches at $5,090.99, Purchase Limited to Raffle Winners
MSI has recently introduced its new high-end NVIDIA graphics card, the RTX 5090 Lightning Z. This limited-edition model had very little information available regarding its price and release date, but MSI has now officially confirmed both. What stands out is not only the price in the United States, but also the unusual way you will be able to buy one.
The MSI RTX 5090 Lightning Z Costs $5,090.99 and Requires Winning a Raffle

The MSI RTX 5090 Lightning Z will be sold in the United States for $5,090.99, which is more than double the recommended retail price of the standard model. However, the most surprising part is not just the cost.
To purchase this graphics card, you must first win a raffle. That’s right — even if you are ready to pay more than $5,000, you will only be allowed to buy the card if you are selected. At the moment, this raffle system appears to be available only in the United States.
The RTX 5090 Lightning Z will be extremely limited, with only 1,300 units available worldwide. Distribution will be tightly controlled by MSI.
In Taiwan, for example, only 100 units will be available. These will be sold through official and controlled sales channels, and buyers will not need to win a raffle. Additionally, customers will receive the free game bundled by NVIDIA with qualifying graphics cards, which in this case is Resident Evil Requiem.
