CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Read
The system’s unbelievable NVMe RAID0 configuration is capable of absurdly fast speeds and even managed to exceed 3000MB/s. This is an unprecedented level of performance and makes traditional SATA drives look rather silly in comparison. On another note, the mechanical hard disk fared pretty well and USB 3.0 figures remained within a consistent range.
CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Write
The astounding performance continues during sequential write testing and reaches a mesmerising figure of 1340MB/s. This is a brilliant result and exemplifies how capable the Samsung SM951 drives are in an ultra fast RAID0 setup. This time, the mechanical hard disk reported average numbers and has some room for improvement. Also, the USB 3.0 write rate could have been better.
