The latest installment of Need for Speed has a new trailer, showing off the setting for the story. It is also a chance to show off the graphics and some of the gameplay racers can expect. Players can race through a large playground, mainly divided into four areas: Liberty Desert, Silver Canyon, Silver Rock and Mount Providence.
Liberty Desert is the largest area in the valley with an airfield and connecting two mountain areas. Silver Canyon is to the North East while Mount Providence is to the west. Players can expect plenty of winding roads and tight corners in Mount Providence. Silver Canyon offers a nice climb towards the Silver Dam after passing through two mountain road options. Silver Rock City on the other hand, offers plenty of racing opportunities. Where the streets remain busy at night, so do the cops.
Players can also expect a drift zone mode, either downhill or uphill, testing the racer’s skill in controlling that oversteer. Feeling like an outlaw? Then Bait and Crate mode is for you. Trigger bait crates and run try your darndest to loose the cops hot on your tail. There are also lots of other racing modes to choose from.
The game is now available for pre-order and the system requirements have been revealed. The release date is on the calendar for November 10, 2017.
