New Corsair Chassis Revealed at Computex 2017

New Corsair Chassis

Corsair hasn’t released a new high-end chassis in what seems like weeks. They’re not dropping their guard anytime soon, and have rocked up to Computex 2017 with some of their most ambitious chassis to date!

Concept Slate

The latest Corsair chassis is a prototype right now, but holy cow! is it impressive! The Slate looks set to be the modern take on the Carbide 900D, although it sits a bit wider and a little less tall than the 900D did.

As you can see, there’s room for eight fans in the front, or 2 x 480mm radiators if you’re feeling adventurous.

Removable and replaceable top covers, allowing you to build for silence or add additional cooling and radiators in the top. True to classic Corsair form, you’ll also find RGB USB ports… now that’s awesome!

The tempered glass door panel swings open, giving you easy access to the interior. However, this is where things get more impressive.

The top and front radiator/fan mounts slide out for easy access.

Behind the rear tempered glass window, you’ll find a shroud to hide all the internal cable routing.

Open up the second set of doors, and you’ll find a huge space for cable management, your PSU and even more awesome, door mounted SSD bays. There’s also a rack of 3.5″ trays in the bottom left too.

Moving back to reality for a moment. Their latest Spec 04 chassis was on display, sporting black and red, or black and yellow variants. It looks pretty slick too and should be a lot more affordable than the Slate ever will be.

Concept Curve

The Curve is a fairly familiar site. The design is based around the popular 780T. However, it has tempered glass on the top, front, and sides, allowing you to see those gorgeous RGB fans in all their glory. Any part that hasn’t been covered in RGB or glass, it treated with carbon fibre!

Which do you prefer, the Slate or the Curve? Let us know in the comments!
