Several sources from Insider Gaming have confirmed that the game will enter internal alpha this fall. Ubisoft has set new internal goals for its major projects, which were recently delayed to ensure the quality and protect the brand’s image. The company plans to release Ovr sometime in 2026.

According to these sources, the development process from internal alpha to the final version is expected to take about a year, meaning the game could be released in the fall of 2026 if everything goes according to plan.

As of now, it is unclear when Ubisoft plans to officially announce the game, but the sources suggest that the company might be preparing for a major event at Ubisoft Forward next year, packed with exciting announcements, including the official reveal of the new Ghost Recon game.

Additionally, Insider Gaming reported that the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time entered its internal alpha phase in June and is scheduled for release before March 31, 2026.

In other news, Ubisoft plans to release nine new Assassin’s Creed games by 2031, including RPGs, remakes, and multiplayer titles. Upcoming releases include Jade, Invictus, Hexe, and more
