New John Wick Video Game Announced at State of Play

Saber Interactive has announced a new John Wick video game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game does not yet have an official title, but it was revealed with a first trailer.

Rumors about John Wick returning in a new video game form have now been confirmed with this first presentation trailer, shown during last night’s State of Play event.

From what we can see, the game appears to be a 3D action title that captures the core elements of the movie series: intense hand-to-hand combat, gunfights, and stylish violence.

The Definitive John Wick Video Game

Developed in collaboration between Saber Interactive, Lionsgate, and Chad Stahelski, the creator of the character and film series, the project has been introduced with the trailer. More details, including the official title and release date, are expected to be revealed later.

The game is currently referred to as “Untitled John Wick Game.” It will feature an original story set in the John Wick timeline, taking place years before the “Impossible Task.”

The new title will expand the story of the series during that period, bringing back known characters while also introducing new ones created specifically for the game. This makes the project an important addition to the overall lore of the franchise.

Saber aims to recreate the signature style and unique elements of John Wick, including the high-impact “gun-fu” combat system, breathtaking action sequences, intense driving moments, cinematic storytelling, and a variety of detailed environments.

The goal, according to the developers, is to deliver “the ultimate John Wick gaming experience” for fans of the series.
