The Japanese computer firm Scythe announced a new almost unique low profile processor cooler today. The “Kozuti” CPU cooler is designed for the needs of the low profile PC chassis. The unique design sees the fan placed under the cooling fins instead of on top or on the side of them. Which reduces the height of the cooler by a substantial amount.
The CPU cooler has three 6mm heatpipes which are supported by an 80mm fan. The fan will run at speeds of 800-3300 RPM making noise of around 8.2 to 32.5dBA. Airflow will be between 6 CFM and 25CFM. The CPU cooler will be compatible with all currently sold AMD and Intel processor sockets. And at a price of around 20-25 euros this CPU cooler will make an excellent choice for those users looking to cool high end processors in compact spaces.
