Markus Persson, or Notch, the creator of Minecraft, recently announced that a sequel to Minicraft is currently in development, entitled MiniTale.
Persson recently resigned as lead developer of Minecraft. It’s unlikely that he is working on the Minicraft, as he said he wants to work on something new. He also has his other game Scrolls that he is working on at the same time.
No details on anything else about the game as of yet.
