In a promotional picture on the Android.com apps and entertainment section Google is showing off what apparently is the upcoming Nexus 8 tablet. The Nexus 8 has been in the rumour mill for a while now and is speculated to be based on the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. This would hardly be surprising as LG and Google work together closely on a lot of things. The LG G Pad 8.3 is shown running Android 4.4 KitKat and you can see the bezel design that’s visibly slimmer than the Nexus 7 2013 Edition.
In September we saw a similar sequence of events. A picture appeared with someone holding a “mysterious phone” and then it later ended up being announced as the new Google Nexus 5. We are now expecting to see a similar thing happen here with Google’s Nexus 8.
