Nicholas Cage Stars As Indiana Jones and Lois Lane

Nicholas Cage As Indiana Jones and Lois Lane?

A little over a month ago, a Reddit user reported that they had created a deep learning technology which allowed them to transfer faces of actors into different roles in different films. Unfortunately, said user decided to use this technology to insert actresses into some *ahem* adult entertainment videos. There is, however, a rather bright silver lining around that technologies somewhat cloudy sky.

You don’t say?…

Nicholas Cage has become a bit of a fan favourite on the internet. In all honesty, I don’t really know why except perhaps his Wicker Man and ‘not the bees academy award-winning dialogue.

It would therefore seem perhaps the most logical choice (after porn) that Nicholas Cage would pop up in these appearing as both Indiana Jones and even opposite Superman as Lois Lane. Ahh, the internet.

How was this created?

The name of the program itself has been called FakeApp. By utilising deep learning technology the app is able to superimpose the face of one person onto another.

Following this, a report via AV has reported that a whole subreddit has opened up on the FakeApp hosting what people have been getting up to with this interesting tech. A cursory glance is not for the faint-hearted, but let’s just say that the Redditors have been keeping themselves busy.

But why?…

Who knows. If I had a penny for each time that question was asked about something weird on the internet I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here writing this. It does, however, represent something rather positive from a rather negative initial intention.

I’d also like to think that if and when Nicholas Cage himself hears about it, he’ll approve. Either that or possibly ask why he doesn’t remember doing that job and more importantly why he didn’t get paid for it.

What do you think? A fun idea? Are you a Nicholas Cage fan? Does he pull off a good Lois Lane? Who did it better, Harrison Ford or Nicholas Cage? – Let us know in the comments!
