ASRock’s Nick Shih made a new record in HWBOT with an AMD A10-5800K clocked to 7930.7MHz at Asrock’s China FM2 Event, taking the first spot which was previous held by Finland’s “The Stilt” with 7904.86 MHz.
It will be interesting to see if anyone will be able to overclock the A10-5800k to 8 GHz, but a few hours ago, Nick had posted a message that he would most likely hit the 8 GHz mark.
The board that was used was AMD A85X Chipsets based ASROCK FM2A85X Extreme 6 which we reviewed back in October here.
