Nintendo Reveals How Much Storage Assassin’s Creed Shadows Will Need on Switch 2
Nintendo has revealed how much space Assassin’s Creed Shadows will require on the Nintendo Switch 2. According to official information from the Japanese company, Ubisoft’s game will need 62.8 GB of storage on the hybrid console.
This is significantly smaller compared to the PC and PS5 versions of Shadows, which take up about 115 GB and 102 GB respectively. The difference is likely due to the lower resolution and adjustments made to the quality of in-game assets.
Expectations After Star Wars Outlaws’ Excellent Port
Given the excellent conversion of Star Wars Outlaws on the platform, expectations for this new release are quite high — even though Shadows features a larger and more complex open world.
Digital Foundry has pointed out a few compromises regarding visual effects quality, but we’ll have to try the Nintendo Switch 2 version ourselves to see how it truly performs.
With only a few days left before the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 , Ubisoft’s previous installment, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is seeing renewed love — albeit a bit late — thanks to the release of the free Valley of Memory expansion.
Coinciding with the arrival of this new DLC funded by Saudi Arabia, Basim’s adventure has surpassed 10 million players — an impressive milestone, especially during uncertain times for the French studio.
