Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Titles Dominate UK Sales Chart
Like every Monday, the new UK physical games sales chart has arrived, and this week it’s more exciting than usual because it’s the first to include games released for the Nintendo Switch 2.
As expected, Mario Kart World easily took the number one spot. Interestingly, the release of this new game seems to have finally pushed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe out of the top 10. That game has been in the top 10 for years but now sits at position 11.
Switch 2 Titles Make a Strong Start
Hogwarts Legacy and EA Sports FC 25 are right behind in second and third place. Other new Switch 2 titles also made it into the top 10. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is in fourth place, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is seventh. Right after that is Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remastered, showing that fans are excited for both action and role-playing games.
Looking further down the list, Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut for Switch 2 also appeared in twentieth place, showing a strong interest in a wide range of titles.
