While No Man’s Sky got off to a shaky start when it launched, the developers at Hello Games have certainly put the effort in since. The game has seen many updates, bringing new content and experiences to the steadily maturing game. Now we’ve got some teasers for the upcoming Atlas Rises update too!
The new update is said to focus on improving the central story in No Man’s Sky. This shouldn’t be difficult, as any hint of a story is thin on the ground anyway. Of course, that’s why they’re updating it, and hopefully, it’ll give a greater sense of purpose to the game.
It looks like a new extremely fast mode of transport will be getting added too. You’ll be able to fast travel between locations by using portals, which will certainly be a big help for those who want to regularly revisit a particular area.
We’re not sure of the exact date, but we do know that No Man’s Sky Patch 1.3 will release this week. Keep an eye out for a full changelog in the coming days.

“Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man’s Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man’s Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you’ll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before – and perhaps never will again.” – Steam
