The new Java edition is pretty striking, and I was also surprised at how well the tone of the material complimented my new couches too! It came in a box too big to photograph, but as you can see, the backrest, seat, and base unit come as separate components.
As usual, everything is extremely well made, but that does come with a side effect, weight. noblechairs are certainly heavier than most, and while that’s a good thing, it can make some of the assembly a two-person job to do safely.
The seat is seriously heavy-duty, with thick metal plates and bars making the frame of it, but heavy-duty springs and straps form the base for any foam and leather coverings. There are six bolts, three on each side, which can be used to mount the armrests.
One of the armrests is pre-installed, likely removed the other one to keep the box smaller, but you can still adjust the width should you need to.
All the bits you need are simple enough though, with wheels, the gas lift and paddles all easy enough to install without tools.
The armrest alone is pretty hefty and comes with their updated larger padded design and 4D adjustments.
There are also two cushions included in the box, which is a little strange, but I’ll get to why that’s strange in a little bit; it’s better to show you.
