I’m a long time fan of Noctua products and it’s easy to understand why given their relentless dedication to quality and performance. However, they can be a difficult company to be a fan of sometimes too, as they’re notorious for delaying products for many years until they’re absolutely certain they’re ready for market, and that can be frustrating at times. Even this humble desk fan was on their future projects back as far back as 2021, maybe even earlier than that. However, here in 2024, the product is finally here, and it couldn’t have come at a better time… right in the middle of a heatwave.
So I’ve actually had this product on my desk for a few weeks. It was 30c+ in my home office and UPS dropped a box off that was full of accessories that promised to keep me cool while I work. So I did what you would have done, cracked it open, set it up, and have been living the breezy desk life for a few weeks.
Of course, it’s now dawned on me that I need to, ya know, actually review this product. Sorry for the delay Noctua, but spoiler alert, it’s been worth the wait, as I’ve got a lot of very nice things to say about these cooling products!
