Once everything is out of the box we get a good look at both the headphones, the first thing you notice is that they are a lot smaller than they look in the pictures, I thought they were ear cups that covered your full ear, but they are in fact smaller and sit on your ears. The storage pouch feels pretty tough, no doubt that it will keep them scratch free and safe if you wanted to chuck them in the bottom of your bag.

The cushions on the headphones are fairly comfortable, nothing spectacular but they are plenty soft and supportive, because they don’t cover your full ear you still have plenty of ventilation, so at least there isn’t much chance of getting an awful sweaty ear. The piano varnish gives them a really high quality gloss finish, they say it shouldn’t scratch, but I don’t care to try ruin it as they do look very nice, would be a shame to try ruin them. The textured look and feel to the Noontec logo on the back of each earpiece looks great too, so its a big win on style here.
The folding mechanism is pretty slick too, although the first time I unfolded them the resulting cracking noise had me worried I had broken them, this wasn’t the case though, the construction of the folding mechanism as well as the rest of the head band looks and feels pretty sturdy.
