NVIDIA Fixes Resident Evil Requiem Performance Issues With OTA Game Profile Update
The latest entry in the popular Resident Evil series has recently been released. The new game, titled Resident Evil Requiem, was highly anticipated by fans of the franchise. The game was also tested with NVIDIA’s latest technologies, including DLSS 4.5 upscaling. However, it seems that some performance issues were still present after launch.
Many players reported performance problems, which NVIDIA has now addressed with its latest driver version 595.71.
New Game Profile Improves Performance
Users who experienced performance issues in Resident Evil Requiem can now use a new game profile introduced by NVIDIA to improve performance. To apply this fix, it is recommended to install the latest NVIDIA drivers and then restart the computer so the changes can take effect in the game.
The issue was first noticed by players who compared performance between the newest driver version and earlier ones. Some users reported that GPU usage and overall performance were lower than before, especially when the game was running with ray tracing enabled.
To solve this, NVIDIA released a specific profile for Resident Evil Requiem. This profile was delivered through an OTA (over-the-air) update and is included with driver version 595.71.
This system allows NVIDIA to provide custom profiles for specific games without requiring users to reinstall the full driver package.
If you still experience low performance after restarting the system, another option is to perform a clean installation of the NVIDIA drivers.
This can be done by using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove the current drivers. After that, you can reinstall the drivers using NVCleanstall, which also allows you to install only the parts of the driver you actually need.
These steps may help resolve any remaining performance problems while playing Resident Evil Requiem.
In related news, Capcom has also released the first major update for Resident Evil Requiem.
