NVIDIA Job Post Teases 1080 Ti and Premium Subscription

NVIDIA seems to have accidentally revealed information about its forthcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, as well as a previously unannounced subscription loyalty program, in a new job posting. The LinkedIn job listing, seeking a Senior Marketing Manager in the GeForce Gamer Loyalty & Advocacy department, suggests that GTX 980 Ti owners will be first in the queue to pre-order the GTX 1080 Ti, while a new GeForce premium service will give subscribers free games, exclusive game DLC, and access to its cloud service, for a monthly fee. Both perks are all part of NVIDIA’s gamer loyalty program, as outlined in the job posting.

“You will champion the voice of our player community and leverage NVIDIA’s position as a leader in PC Gaming to work with partners to identify & secure exciting rewards that provides compelling entertainment value to one of the industry’s largest (and fastest-growing) community of PC gamers,” the job listing reads. “You will partner with some of the industry’s best talent to launch a gamer loyalty program that helps firmly establish GeForce as the best platform for PC gaming.”

Regarding the GTX 1080 Ti, the posting reads:

Targeted Spot Prizes To Drive Sentiment, Reward Behavior, And Grow Advocates: 980 Ti users get first spot in line for 1080 Ti pre-orders, or “Step Up” offer

The listing then reveals details of NVIDIA’s subscription service, dubbed “Club GeForce Elite’:

As The Program Develops, We Introduce ‘Club GeForce Elite’ — Which Has a $10/mth Fee And Gives Gamers

  • Rotating bundle of free games from our GFE app store (4x games per quarter)
  • Free GeForce PC in the cloud subscription
  • Exclusive skins, in-game items, and GeForce Gear

Would you be open to paying $10-a-month for the perks listed above? Are you a GTX 980 Ti owner who intends to pre-order the 1080 Ti?
