Contrary to earlier reports, NVIDIA will not be releasing any updated drivers for its problematic GeForce GTX970 graphics card. Upon its release, the GTX790 was subject to reports that it had major problems with memory allocation, leaving many users disappointed.
NVIDIA tweeted last Thursday that it would not be issuing any updates specific to the GTX790:
The news makes sense, since the problems with the GTX790 are hardware-based, but that doesn’t appease NVIDIA customers who have already bought the graphics card.
