NVIDIA and Origin PC have both been accused by SemiAccurate of some possible anti-trust dealings. Origin PC a large custom computer retailer, has been accused of being bribed by NVIDIA in order to drop AMD Graphic Processing Units from their lineup.

According to Engadget

“This decision was based on a combination of many factors including customer experiences, GPU performance/drivers/stability, and requests from our support staff. Based on our 15+ years of experience building and selling award winning high-performance PCs, we strongly feel the best PC gaming experience is on NVIDIA GPUs.”

I wanted to do my own research, so I contacted Origin PC chat support. They told me that I could find all of the answers to my questions in two different sources; not offering me one official Origin PC source. Both of which had interviews with Kevin Wasielewski, CEO and Co-Founder of Origin PC.

Their first source was from Neowin.net. John Callaham of Neowin, interviewed Wasielewski and gave a Q&A style interview, covering several different areas of dropping AMD GPU’s.

Their second source was from GameFront. Devin Connors of GameFront is a bit more straight to the point, asking two very specific questions.

Devin Connors: Has Origin PC received any incentive, cash or otherwise, from Nvidia that led to the discontinuation of AMD GPU sales by Origin PC?
Kevin Wasielewski: No. In fact, I called my NVIDIA rep and told them I am dropping AMD. Not the other way around.

DC: Did SemiAccurate reach out to you for comment before they published their article today?
KW: They did not reach out to me. No calls, emails, or tweets.

What are your thoughts about AMD graphics cards give us the good and the bad.  Do you think that Origin PC was bribed or even took a bribe to drop AMD from their GPU lineup?
