Game Ready Drivers for Final Fantasy XV
NVIDIA is rolling out their latest set of drivers to improve gameplay experience with the latest and most popular games. The latest version 391.01 specifically improves performance for Warhammer Vermintide 2, World of Tanks engine upgrade, PUBG and for the PC release of Final Fantasy XV.
The Square Enix game in particular includes several enhancements and additions on NVIDIA cards. Now that the demo for PC is out, players can try out these enhancements ahead of the launch.
“With the help of NVIDIA, we are creating a stunning visual experience in FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION, one worthy of this beloved franchise,” said Hajime Tabata. “NVIDIA pushes the pace of innovation in our industry, and that benefits gamers and developers alike.”
NVIDIA prepared a video teaser of what kind of graphics fan can expect below:
How Well Does This Improve PUBG Performance?
Another game that gets the benefit of this driver update is PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds. While extremely popular, the game is widely known for its lackluster performance, even for high-end systems. With this driver update, players can expect a modest bump in performance with GeForce 10-series video cards from 1920 x 1080 up to 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolutions.
Test System: Intel Core i7-7820X @ 3.6GHz, 32GB DDR4 2666, Windows 10
