Nvidia RTX 5080 Becomes Best-Selling RTX 50 GPU in Germany
According to the latest sales data from Mindfactory, one of Germany’s largest hardware retailers, the RTX 5080 is now positioning itself as the best-selling GPU within the RTX 50 series.
Mindfactory’s reports clearly show that the GeForce RTX 5080 has become the top-selling model in the new RTX 50 lineup, surpassing other models that traditionally record higher sales numbers.
RTX 5080 Leads Nvidia’s RTX 50 Sales
The growing popularity of the RTX 5080 is not by chance. Based on the analyzed data, Nvidia has adjusted its supply strategy, giving priority to the production of this card over other 16 GB VRAM models such as the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti.
During the most recent recorded week, the RTX 5080 sold 95 units, ahead of the RTX 5070 Ti, which reached 55 units. This suggests that Nvidia’s focus on availability may be playing a key role in its sales success.
AMD Still Dominates Overall Sales
Despite Nvidia’s success with this high-end model, competition remains strong. Mindfactory’s data continues to show AMD in a dominant position. The Radeon RX 9070 XT remains the retailer’s overall sales leader, followed closely by the RX 9060 XT.
It is clear that while the RTX 5080 is the favorite among Nvidia buyers, it still has a long way to go before challenging AMD’s strong presence in the German market.
Other data shows that the RTX 5070 remains a solid option for users looking for a balance between performance and price. Meanwhile, the 8 GB RTX 5060 has performed below expectations, with only 50 units sold. On the other hand, the Intel Arc B580 continues to surprise with steady sales, even outperforming some models from the Radeon RX 9000 series.
In short, the RTX 5080 is now Nvidia’s leading RTX 50 card, thanks to good availability and strong performance.
