NVIDIA Unveils New RTX A1000 and RTX A400 GPUs

NVIDIA has expanded its professional GPU lineup with the introduction of the RTX A1000 and RTX A400, both based on the advanced Ampere architecture. These new models offer powerful capabilities in a low-profile, energy-efficient design, ideal for professional visualization tasks.

Enhanced Capabilities and Upgrades

The RTX A1000 and RTX A400 are replacing older models and aim to set a new standard for entry-level professional GPUs. Both cards are equipped with the latest NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and tensor cores, bringing a significant upgrade over the previous generation.

Detailed Specifications

The RTX A1000 is the more powerful of the two, featuring 2304 CUDA cores and 72 tensor cores. It is paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, achieving up to 192GB/s bandwidth. This card is designed to handle demanding professional applications with ease.

On the other hand, the RTX A400 offers 768 CUDA cores and 24 tensor cores, along with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. Despite its smaller size, it provides robust performance for a variety of professional tasks.

Both GPUs support the latest display technologies and do not require external power, adhering to a 50W TDP. This makes them perfect for compact workspaces and energy-conscious users.

Availability

NVIDIA’s new offerings are expected to be available through distributors and in pre-built systems by leading OEMs. These GPUs are tailored for professionals in fields such as design, content creation, and architectural visualization, where precise graphics rendering is crucial.

NVIDIA’s continuous innovation ensures that even its entry-level products offer high performance and reliability, making advanced visual computing accessible to a wider range of professionals.
