Nvidia’s GK104 power draw detailed

VR-Zone recently got their hands on one of the next-gen GeForce Kepler product and revealed an interesting power draw with the board having 300W of power at its disposal.

The GeForce Kepler 104, set to be branded  GeForce GTX 670 Ti, is reported to used a 5 NVVDD phase power supply (VRM) design that draws power from 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors. This will give the card a 300W TDP.

As for the wiring, the NVVDD phase 1 and 3 will be wired to the 6-pin connector while the phase 2, 4, and 5 to the 8-pin connector. NVVDD phases 2, 4, and 5 will feed the power to the GPU, while phases 1 and 3 power the GDDR5 memory and other components on the board.
