NZXT Canvas FHD 240Hz Monitors Revealed

As someone who’s avoided competitive gaming for many years, mostly because I’m crap, I must admit I have fallen into playing a lot of Apex Legends recently. Am I great now? No, but can I put up a good fight? Absolutely. I was a firm user of 4K60 monitors for around a decade now, but I’ve stepped down to lower resolution panels in favour of higher refresh rates, and for gaming, I’ll never go back to 60hz now. With that in mind, I’m super excited to see these new monitors for NZXT!

NZXT has just announced their new Canvas FHD Monitors. The previous Canvas monitors were great, so I’m glad to see NZXT are expanding on this. The main features are a Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, which can deliver a whopping 240 Hz refresh rate, with a 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium too.

The monitors should look great too, as they come with Vivid IPS panels, VESA Display HDR400, and the features below show “out of the box color” which is nice, so they’re not running black and white displays, ha.

“Designed to give you a competitive edge. The Canvas FHD monitors allow gamers to reach their full potential in competitive gaming titles, providing them with extremely responsive gameplay and great picture quality. To ensure responsive gameplay, the Canvas FHD Monitor has a 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and AMD Freesync Premium, while sporting an IPS panel with VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 that provides a vivid picture.”

NZXT CAM is the focal point for the NZXT Canvas Monitors because it allows gamers to tune their monitor’s settings easily, set custom game profiles, and have it change automatically when it starts. This gives you the ability to change the Canvas’s settings easily, tuning the picture to optimize the settings for each game.

Designed with NZXT’s iconic style, these two monitors will be exclusively available from NZXT: The Canvas 27F, and 25F. They nicely complement any existing PC setup with the choice to ship with a compact stand or VESA mount, and a bezel-less design.

Canvas FHD Features

  • 1080p resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, supports AMD FreeSync Premium
  • Vivid IPS panel with VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400, 1000:1 contrast ratio, out of the box color
  • Enhanced customization options in NZXT CAM to create custom profiles for OSD settings and have them change games and times of day
  • Anti-glare allows for versatility in high or low-light spaces
  • Two options available for mounting—a compact stand and VESA 100×100
  • Flicker-free display with low blue light means less eye strain
