When it comes to high-end gaming PC cases, NZXT has been top of their game for well over a decade. They’ve created many of the most popular and coolest PC cases in that time, although I love their modern cases, I do miss the old days of the Phantom series. However, this new H6 looks set to grab our attention too, with its enthusiast focused design, impressive hardware support, and pristine aesthetics.
The H6 is designed to be a compact mid-tower PC case with a dual chambered design, so while it’s not too big, it obviously sits a little wide. It falls into the RGB fishtank class of PC cases, which are still endlessly popular and continue to evolve the design that made cases like the Lian Li 011 series so popular.
Airflow is a huge focus here, and despite dual tempered glass windows, there’s more mesh on this case than ever before, with front angled fans, a completely mesh right side panel, top, bottom and rear fan mounts, and plentiful radiator support throughout too for good measure. The case will handle up to ten 120mm fans throughout, and up to 360mm radiators. There’s support for both standard and hidden connector motherboards, and any of the largest GPUs on the market will fit with room to spare. Overall, there’s not a whole lot this case cannot do!
The case is available as the H6, which comes with no fans include. Or as the H6 RGB+, which is model we have in for review today. It’s the exact same case, but the RGB+ comes with pre-installed F360 RGB Reverse intake fans, an F120 RGB exhaust fan, and a Control Hub Lite.
