The HUE comes packaged in a fairly small box, no bigger than your average DVD rom drive, which makes sense given that the device fits in a 5.25″ drive bay. The styling is simplistic but effective on the box and it shows a great shot of the front of the device along with the tagline “Brilliantly beautiful color customization at your fingertips”.
There is plenty more going on around the back of the box though, with a bright decal in red, green and blue, which obviously highlights the fact the HUE comes fitted with RGB lights. We have a brief rundown of how the device operates, which we’ll take a look at in a moment, as well as a run down of its major features. Such as the three RGB controls to adjust the color settings, brightness level, and pulse speed of the internal LEDs, On/off mode to completely disable the LEDs, Effect modes: normal, fading, flashing, and pulsating of colors, Internal LED sleeves that vibrantly illuminates and accents your chassis based on your liking, Unique mesh design that blends flawlessly into any chassis with a mesh front panel.
