NZXT Kraken X60 Liquid CPU Cooler Review

With stock CPU settings you can see the NZXT Kraken X60 is pretty much neck and neck with the Corsair H100i. They are clearly both very powerful coolers when dealing with such low thermal loads, 77W on our i5 3570K at stock speeds.

Overclocking pumps a significant amount more heat through these CPU coolers, around 150W. With more heat we can see that the NZXT Kraken X60 starts to break away from the Corsair H100i a bit more. However, the difference is still only a few degrees. To see the true performance benefit of the Kraken X60 you’d need a really heat intensive CPU like something from the LGA 2011 series. Though all that said, the NZXT Kraken is clearly the best CPU cooler we have ever tested thanks to its large radiator.
