NZXT presents the Source 220 mid tower PC case

Not so long ago, NZXT announced their latest case addition, the Source 220, this new product allows for style and performance even on a budget.
Featuring a glossy look with aluminium finish and matte steel mesh, the Source 220 delivers the performance you could expect from a high-end chassis without breaking the bank.
The front I/O features the latest USB 3.0 for ‘up-to-date’ speeds and is connected internally, although there is only one, the second being 2.0, we couldn’t ask for too much now could we? Also found on the front panel is standard audio out and microphone in, the power and reset button as well as three external 5.25” bays for your optical. Covered in mesh, this should allow for a better airflow to circulate within the case.
Getting inside isn’t the hardest part, neither is the installation of the hardware, the tool-free interior makes it easy and painless to add, change or remove anything. A total of eight internal 3.5” drive bays should allow for some nice setup and enough storage. Matching the case’s outer black paint, there is the usual cut-out hole for easy reach of the back of the CPU, and more cut-outs can be found all around the motherboard for easy and effective cable management, allowing for the cables to be out of the way both of the airflow, and the look of interior. The PSU is bottom mounted, and seven expansion slots should keep any of your PCI cards in place thanks to the sturdy screw installation, which may not be tool-less, but more practical is better in this part of the case. The 330mm without hard drive allows for a nice card to be put in, but sees itself restricted to 230mm with a hard drive.
With a total of seven fans, you won’t be choking your hardware with hot air anytime soon, two being included (back and top), you can setup two in the front, one in the rear, one on the bottom, two on the top as well as a side one for your graphics card or other PCI cards.
Accepting ATX and Micro-ATX, 20mm of wiring space is provided behind the motherboard tray, and the supported heatsink size is 160mm allowing plenty of room for nice and tidy built
While the Source 220 may not be the best, it certainly satisfies, for only $54.99, you can’t get much better.
