Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is FREE for a Limited Time
Ron Perillo / 1 year ago
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is celebrating its 20th anniversary by offering the original game for free for a limited time. The classic platformer is playable on PlayStation as well as MS-DOS Windows PCs back in 1997.
For those who are too young and unfamiliar with the classic title, it centers around Mudokon slave Abe. He works as a humble floor-waxer first class for RuptureFarms when one day he overheard his boss Molluck the Glukkon talking about a sinister plan. As a last ditch effort to rescue RuptureFarms’ failing meat-packing empire, Mullock plans to turn Mudokons into Tasty Treats. Abe of course cannot let this happen so he sets out to rescue everyone. But as usual, things are a lot easier said than done.
Users will be able to download the game either via Steam or DRM-free via GOG.com. The Oddbox package and the New N’Tasty Complete Edition are also available for 75% of the original price on Steam. The game is also available for download via The Humble Bundle.
Those interested would have to hurry up though. The offer only lasts for the next 30 hours.
