Official Gameplay Video for Prey Shows off the First 35 Minutes

Bethesda and Arkane Studios’ upcoming first-person shooter, Prey, is scheduled to come out in May this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The game is meant to represent a spiritual successor of System Shock, and judging by what we’ve seen so far, it seems to include elements from games such as Bioshock and Deus Ex. Even though some gamers usually want to start off a title without knowing too much about the story or gameplay, others prefer to have as much information as possible before making a purchase, which is why Bethesda Softworks has just released an official gameplay video for Prey on its official YouTube Channel.

The video shows off the first 35 minutes of the game, which could be regarded as a massive spoiler for those who prefer to go in blind. What we already knew before the trailer was launched was that the storyline revolves around a man named Morgan Yu, who is trapped aboard a space station orbiting the Moon. Apparently, the space station is overrun by some form of alien life form, and the player needs to survive long enough to make his escape.

You can have a look at the new gameplay video for Prey below.
