Orico, the Chinese data storage manufacturer, has today unveiled its new P5K Series, a new line of portable hard drives.
Featuring a rugged brushed-aluminium body, they offer style and resistance as well as variants featuring both eSATA 3Gb/s and USB 3.0 connectivity as well as a single USB 3.0 port to provide to best versatility to consumers.
Interesting entry, in addition to offering HDDs only, the P5K can pack internal SSDs as well, this is thanks to a single “direct” PCB that holds both the host interface logic and the SSD.
So far, these portable drives are still in the designing phase and the manufacturer hasn’t published detailed specifications.
