At the time of writing, the Patriot Memory Hellfire M.2 2280 NVMe SSD can be yours for $229.99 and £279.28 on the US and UK versions of Amazon.
Overview
Patriot Memory’s Hellfire M.2 PCIe NVMe drive is an excellent drive that will take your system’s performance to the next level, even if you’re already using an SSD-powered system. NVMe simply can’t be compared to SATA, well it can and it will come out the winner every time.
The Hellfire M.2 NVMe SSD convinces with a great performance up to and above 3000MB/s and a random performance above the 200K IOPS. That’s a serious performance and it will be a noticeable difference compared to anything else
There isn’t so much else to tell to the drive as the previous pages with benchmark results and drive analysis’ speak for themselves and the drive is a simple add-in module without extra design characteristics. Feature wise, the Hellfire also comes with everything you’ll want from an SSD such as S.M.A.R.T. and Trim as well as error correction code, static and dynamic wear leveling, bad block management, and advanced garbage collection.
Another plus for this drive is its wide availability all around the world. Quite a few of the other SSD vendors haven’t gotten their drives outside of the US yet and as such, the Patriot wins in that area.
