Patriot Limited Edition ‘Intel Extreme Masters’ DDR3 2133MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review

Keeping with the blue theme of this kit, the memory comes in a blue pack showing off one of the sticks to the side. To the left we find some highlights on the kit, naturally noting that this is a Limited Edition kit and Patriot are the official memory sponsor of the Intel Extreme Masters championship. We also see that the kit we’ve got today is 8GB and 2133MHz. Lastly, as part of the high level of quality control that goes into the memory, each of the modules is individually hand tested to make sure it meets a strict set of requirements.
Out of the box, the kit looks great, the blue heatsinks on the black PCB mix well and on top of this a gloss sticker boasts the Intel Extreme Masters logo.
The other side of the modules is a little more plain with only a sticker in the middle with detailed information on.
Looking a little closer, we can see that this kit has a model number of PVI38G213C1K, with a total capacity of 8GB in a 2x4GB format ans is clocked to 2133MHz at CAS#11 and 1.5V.
