Patriot Memory Starting 2026 with Next-Generation Performance at CES 2026

Patriot is starting this year off strong at CES 2026, where they’re featuring a substantial amount of hardware. We are witnessing a significant surge in both the memory and storage sectors, with Patriot focusing on high-speed DDR5 kits and blisteringly fast PCIe Gen 5 SSDs that look pretty sweet, albeit it’s a tough market right now with stock and prices, so how many gamers will get these? I’m not sure. AI companies… well, that’s another story. However, when it comes to hardware, we can’t help but love what we see here!
Viper Xtreme 5 Aurum Edition DDR5
Leading the charge is the new Aurum Edition of the Viper Xtreme 5. This kit is designed for those who want their PC to look as good as it performs. It features a precision-crafted heat spreader and is engineered to maintain stability even when pushed to its limits.
- Speeds: Up to 8000 MT/s
- Capacity: Up to 64GB
- Design: Premium gold-themed heat spreader for high-end aesthetics.
Viper Elite 5 Ultra & Viper Steel 5
For those moving over to the latest Intel Core Ultra platforms, the Viper Elite 5 Ultra has been specifically tuned for those architectures. Meanwhile, the Viper Steel 5 returns, offering massive capacities for power users who need more than just raw speed.
- Viper Elite 5 Ultra: Optimised for Intel Core Ultra, reaching 8000 MT/s and up to 96GB capacities.
- Viper Steel 5: The workhorse of the range, offering up to 128GB of RAM and speeds reaching 8600 MT/s.
Pushing the 10,000 MT/s Barrier
Perhaps the most exciting reveal is a new prototype DDR5 module. Patriot is currently demonstrating this kit at speeds exceeding 10,000 MT/s. While it is still in the engineering stage, it shows exactly where the company is heading regarding extreme performance and future platform compatibility.
Blistering Gen 5 Storage: PV593 & PV563
On the storage front, Patriot is expanding its PCIe Gen 5 SSD family. The flagship PV593 is a total monster, boasting sequential read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s. Interestingly, Patriot has moved to using graphene heat spreaders as the standard across the range to ensure these drives fit into tight spaces without overheating.
- PV593: 14,000 MB/s Read / 13,000 MB/s Write (Up to 4TB).
- PV563: 14,000 MB/s Read / 11,000 MB/s Write (Up to 4TB).
- PV563H: Same specs as the PV563 but includes a pre-installed aluminium fin heatsink for better thermal management.
What We Think
Patriot is clearly not playing it safe this year. Pushing DDR5 past the 10,000 MT/s mark is a huge milestone, even if it is just a prototype for now. For the average builder, the move to graphene heat spreaders on their Gen 5 SSDs is a smart play, as the massive “active” coolers we’ve seen recently can be a nightmare for clearance. It’s a solid, performance-focused lineup that hits all the right notes for 2026.
Tell Me More
Les Henry, VP of Sales at Patriot Memory, noted that CES 2026 is the perfect stage to show how the company is evolving:
“From the Aurum Edition DDR5 to our expanding Gen 5 SSD family, our latest products reflect a relentless focus on performance, compatibility, and user-focused design.”
Where to Buy
These products are being showcased at CES 2026 from 6-9 January. We expect retail availability and official UK pricing to follow shortly after the event. Prices are anyone’s guess right now, and as for stock, ask the RAM fairy, but with any luck, things will improve throughout the year. You can check for the latest Patriot products at major retailers like Scan, Overclockers UK, and Amazon.
